The Sound of Settling
"I've got a hunger twisting my stomach into knots, that my tongue has tied off.
My brain's repeating, if you've got a hunger let it out,
but they never make it past my mouth.
Ba ba, this is the sound of settling. (3.5X)
Are you this fleeting? Old age is just around the bend.
I can't wait to go grey.
I'll sit and wonder of every love that could have been,
If I'd only thought of something charming to say."
-Death Cab for Cutie, "The Sound of Settling"
Words of advice that I hope to live by: never settle. There's always better. Better for self, better for others, better for the world. Never rest on what you've already done, you're only as good as the next challenge. Settle down, but don't settle.

"If we cannot concentrate we are not able to study Buddhism. People may be discontented or regretted, so that they never settle and work steadily. Seeds cannot grow up overnight."
